Welcome to Wandering Waze!
Vacations are great, but travel is life-changing. My husband Brett and I have developed a better understanding of ourselves and others by exploring our world. Above all, learning about other cultures by experiencing them first-hand helps us foster compassion and understanding. As a result, we become less afraid and more inclusive of the differences in other societies. The benefits are great for ourselves, our family, and humanity, and we started this travel blog to share our learnings with you.
We have developed a passion for exploring the earth and experiencing new destinations. We love to do this in a way that is inexpensive yet allows us to fully experience each location. Through our travel blog, we hope to inspire and assist you with planning fulfilling and memorable travel by providing tips and tricks for designing an amazing journey. By using our blog to share our experiences, lessons learned, and the valuable information we have gathered, we hope to help you have life-changing journies as well.
Similarly, by sharing our knowledge of travel, our hope is to inspire you to use this valuable content to design travel experiences that are tailored to your interests.
We look forward to your feedback. Come back to our blog often as we will be adding new content regularly as we travel to new destinations and share more about those already visited.
Wander well, wander wisely, and most of all wander your way!

An Important Safety Message
Thankfully, our world has largely recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic and we can, once again, indulge in our passion for travelling and experiencing all that the world has to offer. While nearly all of the COVID-related restrictions have been removed or relaxed, travel habits have been changed forever. It’s common to see fellow travellers wearing masks or taking other precautions and we all must respect these choices. It’s up to each of us to take whatever precautions that we feel necessary to ensure our safety while travelling.
While travelling the world has become safer with the downturn of the COVID-19 virus, it’s also very important to exercise common sense safety precautions when you’re travelling. That includes travel to distant corners of the world or to visit friends. family, or locations that are nearby. As always, wander the world wisely and safely and enjoy all the experiences that travel provides.
As you prepare for new travels, check on the regulations and expectations in the areas you plan to visit. This will allow you to enjoy your journies, be safe while visiting new people and places, and create new life-long memories. Look at our Travel Safety Tips for some quick information to help you plan a safe and enjoyable trip. Wander well!!
